Tournament Format
Group Stage (Saturday)
4 teams per group.
Each team plays every other team within its group. A total of 3 matches
Teams finishing 1st and 2nd in their groups advance to the playoffs for the main prizes
Teams finishing 3rd and 4th in their groups advance to a separate playoff for consolation prizes
Participants must arrive in advance; a delay of 15 minutes results in a technical loss (forfeit) for the match
Playoffs (Sunday)
Two single-elimination brackets will be formed:
The first bracket is for teams that finished 1st or 2nd in their groups, competing for the main prizes
The second bracket is for teams that finished 3rd or 4th in their groups, competing for the consolation prizes
Match Format
Matches are played as a best-of-three sets
Each set is played as a short set, up to 4 games
If the score reaches 3–3, the set continues until one side reaches 5 games
If the score reaches 4–4, a tie-break is played (first to 7 points; at 6–6, play continues until one side leads by 2 points)
At 40–40 (deuce), a Golden Point is played; the receiving side chooses the service box
If the score is 1–1 in sets, a super tie-break (first to 10 points) is played
After the match, the score must be entered into the RabbitMatch app
Additional Rules
In sunny or windy conditions, players must switch sides after every odd-numbered game (i.e., after games 1, 3, 5, etc.) and every 4 points during a tie-break
Players officiate their own matches. On serves, the final call regarding whether a ball is "in" or "out" rests with the receiving team.
In the event of any other disputed points, the rally shall be replayed.
Should any questions arise regarding the interpretation of the rules or other issues, an available organizer should be called upon to assist.
Between matches
There’ll be space to relax, catch up and cheer on your friends, plus a photographer to capture the weekend.
We’ll also record the matches so you can watch your favourite moments again. And we’re planning some off-court activities too — more details closer to the tournament.
